Abu Coffee Abu Coffee
The best balanced coffee is produced on the best soil for growing coffee - ABU COFFEE was named by Jose Tedman (the father of the current owner of the farm), the grandson of the farm founder Frank Tedman, who dreamed of producing the ideal coffee, when he took over his grandfather's ideal and opened a new farm. (Abu = Abuelo: the Spanish word for grandfather)
In 2008, we developed 10 hectares of land in the Boquete region that is particularly suitable for cultivating the Geisha variety, and began producing Geisha coffee.
The cherries harvested from fully grown trees first participated in Best of Panama in 2017, winning 6th place with a high score of 91.51 points. Since then, it has continued to rank highly every year, and the best quality of any Panamanian Geisha, together with the charming character of the current farm owner, Jose, and the uniquely sweet and gorgeous flavor, have captivated Panamanian coffee fans around the world as "Abu Geisha."
